Potsdam – Beautiful creation of Sanssouci

Sanssouci Palace

The most visited attraction in Potsdam is the Palace Sanssouci. Friedrich the Great’s amazing 18th-century palace, reminiscent of the grandeur of Versailles, is surrounded by a magnificent 600-acre park.

It’s a very beautiful and impressive summer palace huge park. Its architecture is so unique, brackets in shape of males and females are amazing.

A French phrase (sans souci), which translates as “without concerns”, meaning “without worries” or “carefree”, symbolising that the palace was a place for relaxation rather than a seat of power.

Sanssouci is little more than a large, single-story villa Containing just ten principal rooms, it was built on the brow of a terraced hill at the centre of the park. The influence of King Frederick’s personal taste in the design and decoration of the palace was so great that its style is characterised as “Frederician Rococo”, and his feelings for the palace were so strong

Park Sanssouci

Park Sanssouci  is very big park I ever visited huge park like Sanssouci ,It was amazing and enhances the beauty of Sanssouci Palace .The Park is such a huge many people can walk with peaceful environment there is a small river flows in middle way of Sansoucci Park with small bridge and ducks were dancing and playing with lots of happiness, I enjoyed a lot by sitting with my wife in front of river and also a fountain view of palace was Extraordinary .

There is around 70km of walkways, Park Sanssouci is the largest park in Brandenburg. Almost every monarch has left his mark on the park in one way or another. The proximity of the main entrance (the Green Gate) to Potsdam’s inner city is particularly convenient for visiting tourists. The Marly Garden, awash with flowers, blossoming shrubs and statues is contrasted by the more somber atmosphere of the Friedensgarten. To the south of Palace Sanssouci lie the Charlottenhof, the Rose Garden, the Dichterhain, the former carp pond and a sculpture of the Ildefonso Group. The Beauty of these Gardens can seen when viistors vists in summer time .
